Big Lots, one of America’s largest home discount retailers, will host the grand opening of its Ceres store at 1611 E Hatch Rd, Suite A, this Saturday.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 8:45 a.m.

The 35,000-square-foot store brings new closeout deals and bargains across several product categories for local shoppers and as many as 35 new employment opportunities to the community.

Shoppers can expect great deals at the store’s grand opening, including scratch-off cards given to the first 100 customers with the potential of up to $250 off a single purchase.

Big Lots will occupy the western half of the former original Raley’s store building while Grocery Outlet Bargain Market has occupied the eastern half. The building was last used as Ranch San Miguel Market.
