The National Federation of Independent Business, California's and the nation's leading small business association, announced the endorsement of Anthony Cannella, R-Ceres, for re-election in Senate District 12.

"NFIB proudly endorses Anthony Cannella for reelection to the State Senate," said John Kabateck, NFIB/CA executive director. "He has voted 100 percent in support of NFIB small business priority issues - lower taxes, fewer regulations, an end to frivolous lawsuits - and understands the importance of Main Street job creation. Senator Cannella understands small business owners because he's walked the talk as a job creator himself. He deserves every opportunity to continue to make more positive change in the Senate."

Cannella was the mayor of Ceres before he was elected to the 12th Senate District in November 2010. He resides in Ceres with his wife and children.
