The public is invited to attend the annual Memorial Day service at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 25 at the Ceres Memorial Park, 1801 E. Whitmore Avenue.

The event will include the presentation of colors, brief remarks from local dignitaries, a 21-gun salute in honor of America’s fallen heroes, the singing of the National Anthem, and playing of taps.

Patriotic volunteers are always welcome to help put up flags on veterans’ graves at the cemetery.
