County needs more poll workers for Nov. 6
Social Media Flier.JPG

The Nov. 6 election is getting very close and the Stanislaus County Registrar of Voters is scrambling to find registered California voters to help at the polls.

Approximately 1,000 workers are needed for the election throughout Stanislaus County.

Bilingual poll workers fluent in English and Spanish, Khmer, Punjabi or Assyrian are especially needed.

Poll workers receive a stipend of between $95 and $130 for the day’s work.

To be eligible poll workers must be registered to vote in California, receive some training and be available the entire day on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Volunteer applications are available online www.stanvote.com or contact the Stanislaus County Poll Worker Coordinator 525-5233, or email pollworker@stancounty.com for more information.
