The Stanislaus County Farm Bureau has endorsed Adam Christianson in the race for Stanislaus County Sheriff.
Sheriff Christianson is being challenged by deputy Tom Letras, a Ceres native.

Farm Bureau President Ron Peterson said Christianson "understands the needs of our rural communities" and said "there no better advocate when it comes to law enforcement issues - and that is why we strongly endorse Sheriff Christianson's re-election."

The Stanislaus County Farm Bureau was organized in 1914 and represents 3,800 members.

"I am very proud of our deputies and the work they do, protecting the agricultural community. I look forward to continuing this outstanding partnership," said Christianson.
