Friends and family of a Ceres couple who has lost their fourth child are rallying around them with emotional and financial support.

Tamara and Chad Morrissey, lifelong residents of Ceres, lost their baby six and a half months into the pregnancy. Aubrie was stillborn at Stanford Children's Hospital in Palo Alto. Doctors found out that the child was deceased from kidney and lung problems, said a relative. The trouble was detected three days prior to being referred to Stanford.

"Their friends and family are helping them overcome this overwhelming loss," said Tammy Redden.

The couple has three sons, one who is 4 and twins who are 3.

Chad is a 2007 graduate of Ceres High School and is employed as a truck driver. Tamara graduated from Argus High School in 2011.

The loss also is a financial loss as the family was preparing for a baby, not a funeral at Lakewood Funeral Home. The public may contribute to the family's efforts to pay for a funeral, plot and headstone at www.gofundme.com/baby-aubrie and making an online contribution. A car wash is also being held this weekend at a yet to be determined location.

As of press deadline $300 had been raised from 11 people toward a $9,000 goal. The website, set up Rosalee Smith Redden, had only been in operation for two days.
