A 67-year-old Turlock driver is being blamed for a Hughson area crash that took the life of a 21-year-old Hickman motorcyclist.

The collision took place at Whitmore Avenue and Baldwin Road at 6:25 p.m. on Saturday evening, Oct. 24.

Edwin Medina-Corona was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Whitmore Avenue when Manjit Kaur Samra, 67, of Turlock turned into his path while attempting to turn his 2000 Toyota onto northbound Baldwin. Medina-Corona struck the right rear driver’s side and flew through the air and landed in the road. He was declared dead at the scene. 

Samra reported no injuries.
