Input about Ceres housing needs sought

The city of Ceres will be holding a community meeting, which is set for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 17, to receive public input related to affordable housing and how the city can help promote housing development over the next several years.

The meeting is part of the city’s effort to update the Housing Element of the Ceres General Plan.

The meeting will take place in the Ceres Council Chambers at the Ceres Community Center, 2701 Fourth Street, Ceres.

Public feedback is welcome. Comment may also be emailed to planning@ci.ceres.ca.us

According to planning consultant Marjorie Blom, city staff is happy to provide a short presentation at meetings of local organization. To request a presentation call the Planning Department at (209) 538-5774.
