A Sacramento man walking down Crows Landing Road sustained fatal injuries Wednesday evening after two vehicles crashed, sending one car into him.

The crash occurred at approximately 10:40 p.m. when the 1997 Acura sedan was sent off its path and into Omar Haboosh, 34, walking in the northbound lane south of Blankenburg Avenue. The driver of the Acura sustained slight injuries. Investigating officers say the driver was not intoxicated or on drugs at the time.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
