Ceres Police Department is hosting a “Tip A Cop” fundraiser with Texas Roadhouse on Dale Road in Modesto on Monday, Oct. 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to benefit Special Olympics of Northern California.

Texas Roadhouse will donate a pulled pork sandwich lunch to anyone who attends, with the expectation that they donate the cost of their lunch (or more) to Special Olympics. 

Members of the Ceres Police Department will be the servers and tips will be donated to the cause.

Some Special Olympics athletes will be present to greet patrons and share their experiences.
