The Ceres Community Center is showcasing the Ceres Persephone Guild's annual handmade quilt, "Orion's Star," which will be given away in a raffle.

Tickets are $1 and available at the Community Center.

The Quilt Wall is the newest addition to the city of Ceres' Recreation Department's community art program. The city is seeking four to five quilts from community members to display throughout the year. If you know of anyone who would like to display their amazing work, call Cambria Pollinger at 538-5782 or email her at Cambria.Pollinger@ci.ceres.ca.us.

The city wants to have a new piece on display by April 1.

The city will be hosting an Art Open Gallery at the Community Center at 5:15 p.m. on Monday, March 27. The public is invited to attend.
