Sheriff's Department suspicions about the cause of death of a man found dead on the side of Faith Home Road proved unfounded.

The body of Maurice Charles Dickson, 86, was spotted by a motorist on Dec. 26 in the 5500 block of Faith Home Road, south of Ceres. Stanislaus County sheriff's Detective Zeb Poust said an investigation revealed Dickson's body was on a driveway that accesses the trailer where he was residing.
Officials believe he died of natural causes.
