Nationally recognized chef and television personality Susie Jimenez will make an appearance at Hand Creations Floral, 2307 Lawrence Street in Ceres on Wednesday, Oct. 14.

Jimenez began her culinary journey in the Valley as a Turlock native. She has built a career as a recognized chef, culinary personality and TV personality, including preparing meals for celebrities and high-profile clients and appearing on multiple TV programs.

During the evening event that runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Jimenez will also be showcasing her new line of signature spices Orilla, Chispa and Susie’s Blend and sharing ways that she uses them in her cooking.

“This is more than just a celebrity chef appearance; it’s a local woman returning to the Valley where her story began, while bringing her latest culinary creations back home,” said Ceres native Gabe Adame who is Jimenez’s husband and manager. “This visit is especially meaningful because Hand Creations Floral is owned by Susie’s sister. It gives Susie an opportunity to come back to the Valley, reconnect with the community and share her story with the people and place that helped shape her.”
