Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs for Adrian Gonzales, 39, of Ceres. He died April 25, 2008.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the chapel. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Ceres Memorial Park.
Born Jan. 15, 1969 in Modesto, Adrian grew up in Ceres, attending Walter White Elementary, Mae Hensley Junior High and Ceres High School. He studied at Modesto Junior College. He was an artist who loved exotic animals. He made colorful vases which he enjoyed giving away as gifts. Mr. Gonzales was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman and sports fan. He enjoyed playing basketball with his brothers and spending time with his family.
He leaves behind his wife, Deana Gonzales of Ceres; his children, Vincent Adran Gonzales and Miranda Gonzales, both of Fresno; his brothers, Victor Gonzales of Waterford, Rene Gonzales of Turlock, and Peter Gonzales of Las Vegas; his sister, Violeta Madrigal of Waterford; and his parents, Maria Teresa Vasquez of Ceres. He was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Gonzales.
