A funeral will be at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel for Alton "Hap" Marvin Morgan, 92, of Hughson. He died Friday, May 27, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Burial will be at Lakewood MemorialPark.
Born Aug. 16, 1912, Mr. Morgan was a native of Mangum, Okla., and lived in Hughson since 1947. He was a production worker for Foremost McKesson Creamery for 19 years, and also was a farmer. Mr. Morgan was a member of Missionary Baptist Church in Ceres.
He leaves behind his wife, Alvie Morgan of Hughson; three children, Donnie Morgan of Modesto, Ladean Hilgenberg of Oakdale and Wayne Morgan of Loleta; four stepchildren; and sevengrandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Iva Morgan; and two brothers.
