A service was held Monday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Ambrose Joseph Mazzola, 79, of Ceres. He died Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at Brandel Manor in Turlock.
Born May 21, 1925, Mr. Mazzola was a native of California and lived in Stanislaus County for 55 years. He was the owner of Discount Auto Electric and Mazzola Trucking 25 years. Mr. Mazzola enjoyed deep sea fishing in Mexico, cooking, gardening and hunting.
He leaves behind three children, Tony Mazzola of Ceres, Gloria Mazzola of Chandler, Ariz., and Jacquelin Frusetta of Phoenix; two brothers, Chuck Mazzola of Grants Pass, Ore., and Tony Mazzola of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho; his sister, Marjorie Venema of Grants Pass; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister.
