The rosary will be at 7 p.m. today for Anna S. Soares Azevedo, 77, of Denair. She died Saturday, July 10, 2004 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.
A Mass will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Lemoore. Burial will be at Lemoore Cemetery under the direction of Phipps-Dale Funeral Chapel.
Born Aug. 8, 1926, Mrs. Azevedo was a native of St. Jorge, Azores and had lived in Denair since 1986. She previously lived in the Tulare, Lemoore and Hanford area many years. Mrs. Azevedo was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Local survivors include son Ralph Azevedo of Ceres.
