Services were held yesterday at Salas Brothers Chapel for Anthony Delfino Chavez, 21, of Ceres. He died unexpectedly on March 28, 2010.
Interment was private.
Born March 4,1989 in Clearlake to Deborah Watkins and Richard Chavez, Anthony grew up in Ceres and graduated from John B Allard School. He enjoyed hanging out with friends, fishing and watching his favorite team the 49ers. As the middle child, he loved and looked up to his older brother, and always joking with his little sister.
He leaves behind his mother, Deborah Watkins of Ceres; his brothers, Solomon Chavez and Richard Chavez Jr., of Ceres; his sister, Sierra Nichole Chavez of Ceres; and his grandmothers, Kathryn Watkins of Turlock and Marcella Bargas of Modesto. Anthony was preceded in death by father Richard Chavez.
