A graveside service was held Thursday at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella for Arthur Lee Hess, 64, of Ceres.
Allen Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
Born in June 1939, Mr. Hess was a native of Little Rice, Wisc. We was a veteran of Navy and lived in Ceres for the past 30 years.
He leaves behind his wife, Faye Hess of Ceres; his children, Terry Hopton, Pam Harper, and Ron Hess; 11 siblings; and 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
