A funeral service was held Friday at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Ceres for Augustine L. "Gus" Delagrande Jr., 72, of Ceres. He died Jan. 7, 2011.
Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Born Jan. 16, 1937, Gus worked for the FMC plant 7 of San Jose for 40 years and served in the National Guard.
He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Angela Delagrande; his children, Junior, Cathy, Francisco, Tootsie, Amelia and Rebecca; a brother; three sisters; and 33 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Veronica Delagrande, son Angel Delagrande and parents Augustine & Maria Delagrande.
