A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Livermore for Ava Lorene Macedo, 84, of Hughson. She died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005 at Turlock Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Callaghan Mortuary in Livermore is in charge of arrangements.
Born Dec. 5, 1920, Mrs. Macedo was a native of Texas and lived in Hughson for four years. She previously lived in San Leandro for 30 years. Mrs. Macedo was a homemaker who enjoyed bowling, dancing and yard sales.
She leaves behind her husband, Lloyd S. Macedo of Hughson; her son, Richard Hayes of Modesto; and three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
