A private family memorial service was held for Avis L. Cobb, 86, of Ceres. She died July 21, 2007.
The Colonial Chapel of Frankin & Downs was in charge of arrangements.
Born Feb. 21, 1921 Mrs. Cobb was a native of Clever, Mo. She was a licensed vocational nurse for 25 years. She was a devoted Christian and a member of the Church of the Nazarene In Modesto.
She leaves behind her daughter, Iris Reynolds of Ceres; her grand-daughter, Tonya Abernathy; and two great-grandchildren, Brittany Bollenbacher and Ashley Bollenbacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Taylor Cobb.
