A Sikh Funeral was held at Allen Mortuary on Saturday for Baldev Kaur Malhi, 82, of Ceres. She died Nov. 1, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Born Feb. 1, 1929 in India, Baldev came to Ceres in 1996. She lived in Manteca and El Sobrante from 2004 till 2011. She belonged to the Sikh Temple of Modesto/Ceres.
She leaves behind her two sons, Kirpal Singh Malhi of El Sobrante and Darshan Singh Malhi of Ceres; her brother, Balbir Sandhu of Fremont; and one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
