A memorial service was held Sunday afternoon at Grace Community Christian Church for Barbara Irene Hacker Foster, 55, of Ceres. She died Monday, Aug. 2, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Private burial was handled by Allen Mortuary.
Born Sept. 8, 1948, Mrs. Foster was a native of Selma and raised in Turlock. She resided in Ceres since 2000. Mrs. Foster was a lab clerk for Stanislaus County for four years. She graduated from Turlock High School in 1967. Mrs. Foster was a member of Grace Community Christian Church and the Quality Travelers Club.
She leaves behind her companion, Joe Cunha of Ceres; her daughter, Brenda Danbom of Ceres; mother, Mabel Angell-Brownlow of Apache Junction, Ariz.; brothers, Kenneth Hacker of Ma-dera, Darrell Hacker of Modesto and John Hacker of Turlock; and sisters, Karla Foiada of Ceres and Kelli Borg of Hughson.
