Bonnie B. Metcalfe
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Lakewood Memorial Park for Bonnie B. Hawkins Metcalfe, 68, of Ceres. She died July 3, 2008.
Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Born March 17, 1940, Mrs. Metcalfe dedicated her life to her loving husband, Kenny. She was known for her storytelling and abundant love for poodles.
She leaves behind her husband, Kenneth Metcalfe of Ceres; her two stepchildren, Keith Metcalfe and Kimmy Sanchez; her brothers, Leon Hawkins, Everet Hawkins and Bloyd "Darkie" Hawkins; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents Noah and Josie Hawkins, brothers Norman Hawkins, Sebert Hawkins, Virgil Hawkins and Boyd "Shorty" Hawkins, and sister Ella Mae Roles.
