Allen Mortuary was in charge of services that have been held for Carmen Bustamonte Moreno Lorenzo, 76, of Ceres. She died Sunday, March 6, 2005 at Brandel Manor Convalescent Hospital in Turlock.
Born Dec. 19, 1928, Mrs. Lorenzo was a native of San Luis Obispo and lived in Ceres for 58 years. She was a social worker for the Visiting Nurses Association for 17 years. Mrs. Lorenzo was a member of the United Pentecostal Church where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary as well as taught Sunday School.
She leaves behind her husband, Joseph Lorenzo of Ceres; six children, Anthony Lorenzo of Livingston, Jo A. Hale of Empire, Joe Lorenzo II and John Lorenzo, both of Turlock, and Rosemary Kellogg and David Lorenzo, both of Modesto; two brothers, David Moreno and Ray Moreno, both of Modesto; and nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Lorenzo.
