A funeral was held Thursday at First Pentecostal Church of God in Modesto for Carolyn "Carol" Rae Benedict Bryan, 70, of Ceres. She died Friday, July 1, 2005 at her home.
Burial was at Turlock Memorial Park under the direction of Allen Mortuary inTurlock.
Born Sept. 14, 1934, Mrs. Bryan was a native of San Luis Obispo and lived in the Modesto-Ceres area for 50 years. She was an 18-year employee of Tri Valley Growers where she was a supervisor. Mrs. Bryan enjoyed animals, reading and puzzles.
She leaves behind her husband, Ottest Bryan of Ceres; three stepchildren, Judy James of Ceres, Jimmie Bryan of Modesto and Janie Reynolds of Turlock; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
