A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, for Carrol Dean Williams, 72, of Modesto. She died May 31, 2012.
Born Aug. 2, 1939 in Barry County, Mo., Carrol was the middle of five children. She was an activity director at Hale Aloha Convalescent Hospital in Ceres for 20 years. She was also a caregiver, church volunteer and attended the Assembly of God church.
She leaves behind her children, Karen Riddle of Killeen, Texas, and Carl Riddle of Visalia; her sisters, Margaret Atchinson, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Linda Stearns of Modesto; her brother, John W. Freeze Jr. of Modesto; two grandchildren, Joshua Riddle Sr., of Killen, Texas, and Marisa Keyes of Shawnee, Okla.; and four great-grandchildren, Alexis and Joshua Riddle of Killeen, Texas, and Caleb and Connor Riddle of Killeen, Texas.
