Funeral services were held June 29, 2004 at the Smith Funeral Chapel in Sapulpa, Okla., for Carroll Sigmon, 92, of Sapulpa. The former Ceres resident died Saturday, June 26, 2004 at his residence.
Interment was at Green Hill Memorial Gardens under direction of the Smith Funeral Home.
Born April 17,1912 in Washington County, Ark., Mr. Sigmon left Ceres two years ago for Sapulpa. He was a retired mold maker for Gallo Wine Glass Company. Mr. Sigmon was a member of the Modesto Central Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Masonic Lodge and Glass Workers Union. He was an avid rock collector and enjoyed baseball.
He leaves behind his wife, Mildred Sigmon of Sapulpa; four children David Sigmon of Waterford, Steven Sigmon of Modesto, Elaine Sappenfield of Ceres, and Dottie Agee of Sapulpa; and 16 grandchildren, 29 grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and first wife.
