A graveside service was held Saturday afternoon at Ceres Memorial Park for Charles "Spike" Brett Smith, 51, of Modesto. He died Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at Doctors Medical Center.
Eaton Family Funeral & Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.
Born Feb. 9, 1954, Mr. Smith was a native of Oklahoma City and lived in Modesto for 50 years. He was a cement mason for 10 years. Mr. Smith enjoyed woodworking.
He leaves behind his parents, Wanda Hutcheson of Ceres and Charles Smith of Sacramento; and two brothers, Kevin Hutcheson of Ceres and James Hunt of Jewett, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a brother.
