A funeral service will held Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Charles William Hazen, 87, of Modesto. He died Monday, June 13, 2005 at Samaritan Village-Independent in Hughson.
Born Feb. 2, 1918, Mr. Hazen was a native of Portland, Ore., and had lived in Modesto since 2004 and also lived in Hughson, Turlock, Copper Cove Village and Milwaukie, Ore. Mr. Hazen was an electronic technician for 13 years.
He leaves behind his wife, Linda G. Hazen of Modesto; four children, Sandra Schlechter of Placerville, Susan Weston of Discovery Bay, Gary Hazen of Nampa, Idaho, and Sharon Paige of Gustavus, Alaska; and six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
