A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday (today) at Lakewood Memorial Park for Curtis Burke, 76, of Ceres. He died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Lakewood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born March 3, 1928, Mr. Burke was a native of Bochita, Okla., and lived in Ceres for 73 years. He was president of Modesto Wholesale Meat and a member of Moose Lodge 1608.
Mr. Burke leaves behind three children, Ed Burke of Modesto, Jon Burke of Anchorage, Alaska, and Cindy Soares of Crows Landing; his brother, Herb Burke of Sparks, Nev.; two sisters, Goldie Chatham and Johnnie Bishop, both of Modesto; and eight grandchildren.
