Services were held Saturday at Calvary Chapel in Modesto for Dale Lavon Roberts, 79, of Ceres. He died March 15, 2009.
Burial was at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella.
Born March 2, 1930 in Anaheim to Frank and Martha Roberts, Dale served in the Navy for three years and in the Air Force for 26 years as a Boom Operator. When he retired from the Air Force he was a Master Sergeant. Mr. Roberts was an avid member of the IFR Association.
He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Betty Roberts of Ceres; three daughters, Renee Lawson of Modesto, Rachelle Jensen of Washington and Linda French of Oxford, England; his brother, Ray Roberts; and 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Robin Leonard.
