Dallas R. Little

Burial took place at the Santa Clarita Valley Veterans Cemetery for Dallas Raymond Little, 89, of Santa Clarita. The former Hughson resident died Dec. 27, 2008 in Santa Clarita.

Born May 24, 1919 in Clever, Mo., Dallas was the son of George Raymond "Ray" Little and Elsie Pearce Little. His family moved to Hughson in 1934. He graduated from Hughson High School in 1937. Mr. Little was a decorated surgical technician during World War II. Before he retired, he worked at Edwards Air Force Base as an expeditor. Dal worked at Douglas Aircraft in Los Angeles where he met his wife Fay. They were married in 1955 and later they moved to Sacramento where Dal worked for Aerojet.

He leaves behind two sons, Bill Little of Lancaster, and Bob Little of Simi Valley; his daughter, Patricia Miller of Canyon Country; two brothers, Darl Little of Denair, and J. Don Little of Hughson; two sisters, Rayetta Riggs of Hughson and Vera Briden of Albuquerque, N.M.; and two grandsons, Chad Miller and Garret Miller. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, his parents, and brothers Ernest Little and W. G. "Gib" Little.
