A funeral was held Tuesday at Free Will Baptist Church in Turlock for Daniel Ellerd, 53, of Denair. He died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005 at his home.
Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park under the direction of Allen Mortuary.
Born April 12, 1951, Mr. Ellerd was a native of Sonora and lived in Denair for 30 years. He was a graduate of Ceres High School. Mr. Ellerd was a farmer. He enjoyed bass fishing and hunting.
He leaves behind his wife, Chris Ellerd of Denair; three children, Daniel Ellerd of Hughson and Somer Foster of Turlock; his mother, Lavada Ellerd of Denair; his brother, Michael Ellerd of Red Bluff; and two grandchildren.
