David Lee McMillan

A visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Thursday for David Lee McMillan, 66, of Ceres. He died July 16, 2010 at his residence.

A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson. Interment will take place at Patterson District Cemetery.

Born March 25, 1944, Mr. McMillan was a native of Superior, Wyo., and a resident of Ceres for several years. He worked for Nunes Turf Grass as a diesel mechanic for 35 years and owned his own firewood business. David was a member of the Clampers and enjoyed dear hunting, fishing and vacations in the mountains.

He leaves behind by his children, David McMillan of Hilmar, Jerry Jefferies of Turlock, and Theresa McMillan and Jackie White, both of Turlock; two brothers, George McMillan of Patterson and Jerry McMillan of Lake Havasu; two sisters, Nancy Medeiros of Hilmar and Christine McMillan of Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Brian Alvarez, Shawna Graves, Tanny White, Lindsey McMillan, Nicole White, Michael White and Brandon McMillan; and three great-grandchildren, Alexis Alvarez, Kailey Alvarez and McKenna Mae Alvarez. He was preceded in death by sons Rick Jefferies and Billie McMillan and sister Freida Shelton.
