Inurnment will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash., for Dean S. John, 86, of Enumclaw, Wash. He died Friday, July 22, 2005 at Franciscan Hospice House.

Weeks Funeral Home in Enumclaw is in charge of arrangements.

Born Aug. 27, 1918, Mr. John was a native of Winett, Mont., and lived in Enumclaw four four years and previously had lived in Ceres. He was a parts manager with Krause & Noonan in Modesto for 40 years. Mr. John was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Calvary Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge in Glenrock, Wyo., and founder of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Mr. John enjoyed lapidary.

He leaves behind his wife, Mary John of Enumclaw, Wash.; three children, Douglas John of Turlock, Mary Beth Pollard of Anacortes, Wash., and Julie Griswold of Enumclaw; his brother, Max John of Sonora; his sister, Jean Hervery of Modesto; and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
