A funeral services was held Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ceres for Donnie J. Sneed. He died Jan. 1, 2011 while vacationing in Palm Springs.
Arrangements were made by the McHenry Chapel of Franklin & Downs.
Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born May 14, 1948, Mr. Sneed worked for Abe's Plumbing and Stiles Custom Metal in the Ceres area. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10293 of Ceres and the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
He leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Rose Mary Corn Sneed; two children, Alan M. Sneed and Tonya M. Bagley; two brothers, Bill Sneed and Jacob Sneed; two sisters, Patsy Keller and Betty McFaddin Refford; and his grandson, Andrew Bagley. He was preceded in death by parents Jesse and Thelma Sneed, brother Hubert Martin and sister Helendean Martin.
