A funeral service was held Monday at Allen Mortuary Chapel in Turlock for Dorothy M. Buck, 91, of the Keyes-Turlock area. She died Friday, Oct. 12, following a brief illness.
Born May 1916, Mrs. Buck was the customer service manager at Sears in Modesto for many years. She and her late husband, Don, owned a walnut and almond orchard on Keyes road where they also operated a bee keeping business. Mrs. Buck, a former member of Nazereth Lutheran Church in Turlock, was active in the church life of Monte Vista Chapel in Turlock.
Mrs. Buck leaves behind her daughter, Nancy Bibler of Arnold, and eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by husband Don Buck, children, Bill Buck and Sandra Martin, and granddaughter, Lisa Bibler.
