A memorial service was held Monday at Allen Mortuary in Turlock for Douglas Eugene Stiffler, 49, of Turlock. He died Tuesday, July 24, 2007 in Modesto.
Born Nov. 5, 1957, Mr. Stiffler was born and raised in Ceres, attending Ceres schools. He graduated from Downey High School in Modesto in 1976. Mr. Stiffler was employed in the micro chip industry for six years. A free-spirited person, he enjoyed outdoor activities, fishing and camping.
He leaves behind his son, Jackson Stiffler of Kalispell, Mont.; his mother, Lena Stiffler of Turlock; his brother, Michael Stiffler of Ceres; his grandmother, Lorene Smith of Ceres; two uncles, Leroy Stiffler of Ceres and Van Hickman of Modesto; and her aunt, Naomi Parrish of Surprise, Ariz.
