A graveside service held held Tuesday afternoon at Ceres Memorial Park for E. Wayne Lee, 82, of Modesto. He died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004 at Doctors Medical Center.
The Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs was in charge of arrangements.
Born Feb. 28, 1922, Mr. Lee was a native of Jay, Okla., and had lived in Modesto since 1946. He was employed by E.&J. Gallo Winery for 22 years. Mr. Lee was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.
He leaves behind five children, Rodney Lee of Turlock, Rickey Lee of Ceres, and Shirley Lee, Jerry Lee and Eddie Lee, all of Modesto; his brother, Robert Lee of Ceres; his sister, Mamie Chapman of Turlock; and 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lee; daughter Patricia Thornhill; and son Robert Lee.
