A funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at Templo Rosa De Saron in Modesto for Earl Juarez Espinoza, 80, of Ceres. He died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.

Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park under the direction of Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel.

Born Nov. 22, 1924, Mr. Espinoza was a native of San Antonio and had lived in Ceres since 2003. He was a superintendent for Exchange Linen Co. for 30 years. Mr. Espinoza was a member of the Baptist Church. He enjoyed baseball.

He leaves behind his wife, Isabel Espinoza of Ceres; seven children, Earl Espinoza Jr. of Hayward, Cecelia Arquelles, Angelo Espinoza and Juanita Morales, all of San Jose, Mary Helen DeLa Rosa of Antelope, and Magdalena Ramirez and Elizabeth Espinoza, both of Ceres; two brothers, Rudolph Espinoza of San Jose and Walter Espinoza of Modesto; five sisters, Jenny Espinoza and Lupe Flores, both of San Jose, Carmen Agulair of Ceres, Candy Mendez of Manteca and Phillis Vasquez of Elk Grove; and 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
