A service was held Friday morning at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Ceres for Elvira Echeverria Bayona, 93, of Modesto. She died Feb. 1, 2008.

Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park under the direction of Eaton Family Funeral Home.

Born Oct. 31, 1914, Mrs. Bayona leaves behind four children, four siblings, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
