A funeral service was held Tuesday at Allen Morturary in Turlock for Emily June Garcia Jamison, 30, of Modesto. She died Sept. 5, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born May 7, 1978, Emily was a native of Tahlequah, Okla., and raised in Modesto. She attended Downey High School where she played volleyball and was involved in FFA. Emily loved her family and had a special way with older people.
She leaves behind her husband, Claudio Garcia Jr. of Modesto; her children, Dalton Johnson of Ceres, Cole Bond of Oakdale, and Alex and Alexis Garcia both of Modesto; a stepson, Andrew Garcia of Turlock; her brother, Matthew Jamison of Modesto; her sister, Melissa Cunningham of Tracy; her mother, Deborah Iverson of Modesto; and her father, Mac Jamison of Modesto.
