A service was held Thursday at the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs for Ernestine F. Harris, 75, of Stanislaus County. She died May 16, 2009 in Redding.
Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park.
Born May 1, 1934, Ernestine was a lifelong resident of Stanislaus County. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She leaves behind her children, Leadia Burdick of Oklahoma, George Harris of Redding, Ed Harris of Oakdale, James Harris of Empire, and Albert Harris of Redding; and 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Harlin Harris and children Ernest, Maggie, Roberta and Harvey.
