Services were held Saturday at Salas Brothers Funeral Home for Eunice C. McClure, 70, of Ceres. She died peacefully on Nov. 10, 2008 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson, due to complications from COPD.

Born Nov. 9, 1938 in Henrietta, Okla., she came to Modesto with her family in 1948. She lived in Ceres for approximately 30 years. Mrs. McClure was a homemaker. She enjoyed being with her family and gatherings in her home, reading, and crocheting blankets.

She leaves behind her three daughters, Pamela Taylor and Diana Dodd, both of Ceres, and Patty Ford of Jamestown; and seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by husband Johnny McClure, parents Eugiene and Bonnie Wilson, and brothers Darvin Wilson, Don Wilson, Jimmy Wilson and Bruce Wilson.
