A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Winton District Cemetery in Winton for Faye L. Croft McConnell, 81, of Ceres. She died Monday, Aug. 30, 2004 at English Oaks Convalescent Hospital inModesto.
There will be no public visitation. The Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs is in charge of arrangements.
Born Jan. 12, 1923, Mrs. McConnell was a native and lifelong resident of Ceres. She was a supervisor with the Stanislaus County Probation Department. Mrs. McConnell was a member of the Retired Employees of Stanislaus County.
She leaves behind her husband, Oliver M. McConnell of Ceres; three sons, Patrick Bates of Ceres, Stanley McConnell of Turlock and Douglas McConnell of Modesto; and two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
