A graveside service was held Friday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Faye Marie ”Ma Faye“ Brackett Smith, 83, of Hughson. She died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Lakewood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Born March 23, 1922, Mrs. Smith was a native of Harrison, Ark., and lived in Hughson for 53 years. She was a cannery worker who enjoyed listening to country music.
She leaves behind two children, John Lloyd Smith of Hughson and Betty Wells of Ceres; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Smith Jr., and son James Ralph Smith.
