Funeral services were held Saturday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ceres for Flora Borges, 82, of Ceres. She died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Burial was at Turlock Memorial Park.
Mrs. Borges was born in Merced and graduated with the Merced High School class of 1944. She married Louis Borges in 1957. They lived in Los Angeles from 1960 to 1972, then in Turlock for 20 years before settling in Ceres. Mrs. Borges was an avid geneologist and was a member of several square dance clubs. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ceres.
She leaves behind her children, Lawrence Borges of Ceres and Janice Virgo of Stevinson; her brother, Clement Bell of Oakhurst; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Louis Borges and a brother.
