Evins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Florence Choy Ha Kaleinani English, 84, of Ceres. She died Friday, Sept. 30, 2005 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.
Born Sept. 8, 1921, Mrs. English was a native of Honolulu and lived in Ceres for one year. She previously resided in Hawaii for 83 years. Mrs. English was an agent for Hawaiian Airlines in Honolulu for 30 years. She enjoyed watching sports.
Mrs. English leaves behind two children, Yvette Elness of Ceres and Agar English of Waianae, Hawaii; four sisters, Madeline Paul and Lillian Chang, both of Las Vegas, Katherine Shigenaga of Palmdale and Roseline Acosta of Waianae; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
